(Not a dream)
During a meeting regarding course planning for the web 1 and 2 classes, the teachers start to argue over relevant curricula. The idea that every possible program or technique must be included is ridiculed by the group before each person goes on to state why their thing is essential. I mainly argue against teaching things that I already teach. I realize at some point that if they take my advice, I'll have less work. But I don't care.
Hotly defended items include dreamweaver, droople, ruby on rails, wordpress as cms, jquerry, dreamweaver templates. I think none of these matter as much as teaching them how to effectively research all available tools. Actually I think these things should all be eaten by the bird. I can actually picture droople as a big queasy-green slime down in the bird's tupperware tummy. Never to be heard from again.
